Our Pre-K class has periods of active play along with Christian curriculum-based learning experiences. It is designed to provide children the opportunity to optimize their preparation for Kindergarten in areas including Bible, science, math, reading, writing, and music. Students in this class will also learn problem-solving, responsive listening, using language to learn and social and collaboratives skills that is necessary to succeed in their kindergarten.
Blue room is for children who are 4 to 5 years old . Our teachers are Mrs. Hong, Mrs. Kim , and Mrs. Wee. Although most of our kids are second generations in America, they learn God’s Word and sing praises in both Korean and English so that they don’t lose their Korean identity and that they become precious God’s servants in American society.
Our students are also learning basic math and reading skills in our class so they can become successful learners in Kindergarten. We are also trying to develop kind heart and self-esteem among our kids. It is a great pleasure to hear that our kids are well adjusted to Kindergarten and enjoys their school lives after graduating Yuong Sang Academy. Our staff will do our best to become trusted teachers.
